Traveling wins, simply by being poop-free.<\/i><\/p>\n

Babies are annoying. Just kidding. They are adorable little human beings, who cry when they want their way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I know I was a baby at one time, but I’m 100% sure that having one isn’t for me. My wanderlust has taken over and I can’t help but pursue my dream of travel rather than a family. You want to know why? Well, I confess 3 reasons why traveling beats the future of having a baby.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two\u2019s a crowd<\/span><\/b><\/h1>\n

Booking tickets are already a hassle for one person, so imagine having to find two. Besides traveling, a baby is an automatic plus one to events, dinners, functions, and extracurricular activities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Finding a babysitter whether in advance or at the last minute is an added chore I can live without.<\/span><\/p>\n

It may sound selfish to choose material experiences over a human baby. But, isn\u2019t it my choice after all?<\/span><\/p>\n

Being one of 6 children, I\u2019ve witnessed the ins and outs of caring for babies. And, not to seem too pessimistic, but children are not what they crack up to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m having a baby, but her name is traveling. My mini-me would have to wait until the next lifetime.<\/span><\/p>\n

Experiences or baby diapers?\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/h1>\n

Experiences for 500, please!<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve never changed a baby\u2019s diaper. And, I don\u2019t want to because let\u2019s be honest, it\u2019s disgusting.<\/span><\/p>\n

It begins with a baby who whines and has obviously wet or messed his or her pants. Notice his or her face, and definitely smell the stench in the air.<\/span><\/p>\n

You’d have to remove the soggy diaper with two hands. One hand to lift the baby, and the other to snatch and discard the dirty pamper.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then, you’ll have to clean him or her using baby wipes. \u00a0How messy the baby depends on a few factors: type of food eaten and duration between bowel movements.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once a clean pamper is on the baby, then history repeats itself a few hours later.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taking vacation when needed<\/span><\/b><\/h1>\n

The only screaming and kicking that\u2019ll happen will be when I hop on a flight to anywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Traveling beats the future of having a baby because vacation days can be planned and taken accordingly. When I take time off, it truly means off. There’s no uncertainty with how I can spend my days. If I plan it, then I will do it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having a baby is sort of having a second job. As part of the contract, paid time off is not included. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Motherhood is unpredictable, draining, selfless, and consuming. I\u2019m 28 years old and freedom to go where I want and when is important to me.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m the only baby I want to spoil with trips to Turks and Caicos or cruises off the coast of Spain.<\/span><\/p>\n

I can go anywhere and focus on my immediate need to relax and rejuvenate from life\u2019s battles.<\/span><\/p>\n

Traveling is in itself a baby. I just choose to fly with mine than\u00a0to give birth to one.<\/span><\/p>\n
